Your Responsibilities

Changing Jobs at DART

If you want to change your job at DART, you need to contact your Case Manager.

Many things will be considered. The job change must be in your best interest. And there must be an opening available on a different crew

Leave of Absence

Sometimes things happen and you need some time away from work...but you plan to come back.

You will need to talk to your Case Manager about this. If a leave of absence is approved, special plans will be made.

Returning to DART

If you stop working for DART and later want to return:

If we helped prepare you for a job or another program and it proves to be too much for you, you will be able to return to our program.

You will need to talk to your Case Manager about this. If a leave of absence is approved, special plans will be made.

If you quit DART or were terminated, you can ask the Regional Center to refer you to DART again. If you are accepted, there is no guarantee that you will return to your old job. Each referral is looked at individually. Your re-admission may be delayed until funding is available.
